During this maintenance window, we will be rolling out software upgrades across all Minecraft: Java Edition instances on all points of presence (PoPs). This is a full upgrade involving changes to several of our internal core systems.
Unlike the routine updates we continuously deploy transparently and without impact, the scope of this upgrade prevents us from performing it gracefully. As a result, Java Edition players may experience a single disconnection per PoP at some point during the maintenance window. Players will be able to reconnect immediately afterwards.
This upgrade brings: - Improved overall performance - Enhanced MOTD handling - Lower processing latency and faster response times - Improved management and customization options for Game Tunnel
These improvements lay the groundwork for expanding Tunnel more securely in the near future. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
